Sílvio Leiria, CT1BPT, Board Director of A.R.R. - Associação de Radioamadores do Ribatejo, a central of Portugal ham radio association, has announced at the Portuguese ARLA/CLUSTER Internet mailing list a new beacon to 70 Mhz, in the same conditions of the previous ex-CQ5FOUR and located at same place.

The technical projects, as well as the licensing process for the beacon, according with the new Portuguese legislation, have been approved officially by ICP-ANACOM (Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações), the Portuguese Administration of Telecommunications.

These beacon will operate at the new 4m Portuguese Amateur Radio Band.
