As part of the international DXpedition to the Isla del Coco (EJ65lm) Costa Rica there will be a EME activity on 70cm and 2m.

Rig is abt 350W/10el on 2m and 120W/27el on 70cm.

The island is uninhabited. There are no facilities on the island, everything has to be landed with jollyboats. The electricity will be produced with generators.

VHF Activity Isla del Coco - DXpedition TI9K 2008

The activity from Coco will include EME work on 2m and 70cm. We have a small 6m station with us (100W + vertical) running a beacon on 50.110.  No 6m EME planned. We will participate in the DUBUS REF digital contest Feb 09/10. Activity on EME will be random only, we call always first. If you are capable to work us on CW look for the CW windows in the schedule. OPs will be DH5FS (Fred) and K9CT (Craig).
