*HIS MAJESTY THE KING OF SPAIN CONTEST*

* *

Sponsored by Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (URE).

*Participants*: Any licensed amateur station.

*Dates*: CW*: *3rd full weekend of May, from 1200 UTC Saturday till 1200 UTC
Sunday (May 17-18, 2008).

SSB: 4th full weekend of June, from 1200 UTC Saturday till 1200 UTC Sunday
(June 28-29,

2008).

*Bands*: 10, 15, 20, 40, 80 and 160 meters, according the IARU Region 1 band
plan.

*SSB*: 1840-1850, 3600-3650, 3700-3800, 7045-7100, 14125-14300, 21151-21450.
28225-

29200.

*CW*: 1830-1838, 3500-3560, 7000-7035, 14000-14060, 21000-21080,
28005-28050.

*Classes*:

1) SOAB EA - Single Operator All Band EA.

2) SOSB EA - Single Operator Single Band EA. (Only one band will be worked
along the

contest).

3) SOAB DX - Single Operator All Band DX.

4) SOSB DX -Single Operator Single Band DX. (Only one band will be worked
along the

contest)

5) MOEA - Multi-Operator EA, only all band.

6) MODX – Multi-Operator DX, only all band.

NOTES:

a) The DX-cluster can be used in all classes but it is not allowed
self-spotting.

b) Only one signal at the same time is allowed in all single operator
classes.

c) Only one signal per band is allowed in multi-operator class.

*Valid contacts: *Any station can be contacted during the contest. Every
station can be

contacted once per band. Unique QSOs will not be valid for points nor
multipliers.

*Exchange*: *Spanish stations*: RS(T) + Spanish Province letters (see
below).

*DX stations*: RS(T) + QSO number starting with 001.

Multi-operator stations, if used multi TX, shall report separate serials per
band starting with

001.

*Points:*

EA stations:

QSO with EA stations, 2  points.

QSO with DX stations, 1 point.

DX stations:

QSO with DX stations, 1 point.

QSO with EA stations, 3 points.

*Multipliers*: Each Spanish Province (52) and each EADX100 entity, except
EA, EA6, EA8 and EA9, per band.

EADX100 entities are those of DXCC plus GM3-Shetland, JW-Bear, IT-Sicily and
4UVIC-ONU Vienna International Center.

*Final score*: Total QSO points by total number of multipliers of all bands.

*Prizes:*

EA*: *Trophy will be awarded to the top-scoring entrant in single operator
multi-band and to the top-scoring entrant in multi-operator class.

Medal will be awarded to the high scoring entrants in single-band classes,
if a minimum of five logs are received for that band.

Certificate will be awarded to stations with a minimum of 150 QSO in
multi-band or 50 QSO in single-band classes. For obtaining trophy or medal
this same criterion will be applied.



DX: Trophy will be awarded to the top-scoring entrant in single operator
multi-band class and to the top-scoring entrant in multi-operator class with
at least 150 QSO.

Medal will be awarded to the high scoring entrant in each single-band class
with at least 50

QSO, if a minimum of five logs are received for that band.

Certificate will be awarded to the high scoring entrant in each EADX100
country in single

operator multi-band class with at least 150 QSO.

*Logs*: Only logs in Cabrillo format. Paper logs will be not accepted.

*Sending*: Logs can be sent by e-mail as attached files without compressing
them to:

*smreycw  ure.es  *(CW mode)

*smreyssb  ure.es *(SSB mode)

In the "Subject" of the e-mail must be read "King of Spain log from (your
callsign)".

Your output file should be named by your callsign (i.e. EA4URE.LOG)

Computer disks must be sent to: URE-Concursos HF, P.O. Box 220, 28080
Madrid, Spain.

*Closing date: *Logs must be received by:

CW, June 10.

SSB, July 15.

Logs lately received will not be considered.

*CONCURSO SU MAJESTAD EL REY DE ESPAÑA*

* *

*Organización.- *Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (URE).

*Participantes.- *Todos los radioaficionados en posesión de licencia oficial
que lo deseen.

*Fechas.- **CW*: Tercer fin de semana de mayo (en el año 2008, días 17 y
18), desde las 12:00 UTC del sábado hasta las 12:00 UTC del domingo.

*SSB*: Cuarto fin de semana de junio, desde las 12:00 UTC del sábado hasta
las 12:00 UTC del domingo (en el año 2008, días 28 y 29).

*Bandas.- *10, 15, 20, 40, 80 y 160 metros, dentro de los segmentos
recomendados por la IARU Región 1.

*SSB*: 1840-1850, 3600-3650, 3700-3800, 7045-7100, 14125-14300, 21151-21450.
28225- 29200.

*CW*: 1830-1838, 3500-3560, 7000-7035, 14000-14060, 21000-21080,
28005-28050.

*Categorías.-*

1) Monooperador multibanda EA.

2) Monooperador monobanda EA. (Sólo trabajaran una banda en todo el
concurso)

3) Monooperador multibanda DX.

4) Monooperador monobanda DX. (Sólo trabajaran una banda en todo el
concurso)

5) Multioperador EA, sólo multibanda.

6) Multioperador DX, sólo multibanda.

*NOTAS:*

a) Se permite el uso de Cluster en todas las categorías, pero queda
prohibido auto-anunciarse.

b) En las categorías de monooperador sólo se permite una señal en el aire.

c) En la categoría de multioperador sólo se permite una señal por banda.

*Contactos válidos: *Puede ser contactada cualquier estación del mundo.

Cada estación sólo puede ser contactada una vez por banda.

No serán validos los puntos y/o multiplicadores derivados de QSOs ÚNICOS

*Intercambio.- *Las estaciones españolas pasarán RS(T) más la sigla
provincial; las del resto del mundo pasarán RS(T) más número de serie
empezando por 001.

Se consideran estaciones EA todas las estaciones que emitan desde territorio
español, sea cual fuere el prefijo utilizado.

Las estaciones multioperadoras extranjeras, si utilizan varios transmisores,
pasarán series de números independiente en cada banda empezando por 001.

*Puntuación*.-

Estaciones EA:

QSO entre estaciones EA dos (2) puntos.

QSO con estaciones DX un (1) punto.

Estaciones DX:

QSO entre estaciones DX un (1) punto.

QSO con  estaciones EA tres (3) puntos.

*Multiplicadores: *Cada provincia española (52) y cada entidad del EADX100
en cada banda salvo EA, EA6, EA8 Y EA9.

*Puntuación final.- *Suma de puntos multiplicada por suma de multiplicadores
de todas las bandas.

*Premios:*

*Estaciones EA*: Trofeo al campeón en categoría monooperador multibanda y al
campeón en categoría multioperador multibanda.

Medalla a los campeones monobanda, siempre que se hubiera recibido un mínimo
de cinco listas en la banda trabajada.

Diploma a quien consiga un mínimo de 150 QSO válidos en multibanda ó 50 QSO
válidos en monobanda.

Para obtener trofeo o medalla se aplicará este mismo criterio.

*Estaciones DX*: Trofeo al campeón en categoría monooperador multibanda y al
campeón en categoría multioperador multibanda, siempre que hubieran
realizado un mínimo de 150 QSO válidos.

Medalla a los campeones monobanda con al menos 50 QSO válidos realizados y
siempre que se hubiera recibido un mínimo de cinco listas en la banda
trabajada.

Diploma al campeón de cada entidad del EADX100 en categoría monooperador
multibanda, siempre que se hubieran logrado un mínimo de 150 QSO válidos.

*Listas.- *exclusivamente en ficheros en formato CABRILLO. (No se admiten
listas en PAPEL.)* *

*Envíos:* Por correo electrónico como ficheros ADJUNTOS sin utilizar
compresores DE NINGUN TIPO a la dirección:

Para el modo CW a: smreycw  ure.es

Para el modo SSB a:* *smreyssb  ure.es

El campo "ASUNTO"  (o titulo del mensaje) deberá decir: "SM el Rey log de
XXXXXX" (sustituir las X por las letras/numero de vuestro indicativo).

El fichero adjunto se llamara XXXXXX.log (igualmente sustituir las X  por
las letras/numero de vuestro indicativo), tal y como sale del programa
informático utilizado.

Las listas en disquete se enviarán a: URE- Concursos HF, Apartado 220, 28080
Madrid.

*Fecha tope* de recepción de listas: CW 10 de junio, SSB 15 de Julio. Toda
lista recibida con posterioridad no será considerada válida a ningún efecto*
