Thanks for the other message and the Canary islands: the place where the
antennae are located is indeed adequately smothered...

AFRICA
7220 CAF, 7270 GAB.   Those had been observed back in August, but not
since, and also no luck between 07 & 11 Sep.  Propagation was below
average during that period  (cf. Guinea, Nigeria below), but I'm convinced
 they aren't active, at least not on a regular basis.  Maybe some (good)
coincidence when eventual tx tests were performed when I spotted them?

666 kHz RTA-1, Tindouf (as per listings), 2121-2128, 09 Sep, Arabic, western
classical music pieces; 52442, QRM de POR.  \\ 153, 198, 549, 702, 891 kHz.
Frankly, I don't recall having caught this one for many, many years, so
probably reactivated, just like 702 kHz.  A few months ago, Tindouf 666 was
listest in the RTA webpage as a 5 kW local stn airing RTA-1 0900-1700 only.

BRAZIL
Quite a few obs. 6-10 Sep, incl. on MW where stns would fade in as early as
2115+, e.g. R.Uirapurú, Fortaleza CE, 760 kHz, 2118-2131, 06 Sep, 44343, and
then an even better catch on 09 Sep 2130 w/ a 55444 rating.   Another good
one was the tiny R.Vanguarda, Caridade, also CE state, 2227-2236, 10 Sep,
43432, QRM de B.  This time, no luck with midday reception on 9 MHz, and
just some on 11 MHz.    Static noise plagued most of the bands, incl. 11
MHz, most of the time, except on MW, where conditions were quieter (!).
Even during the evening, the conditons were adverse on 31 m, and no sign
of R.Cultura 17815v, day or night, but surely on acount of poor propagation.

greater, if Ghana 4915 is active, which has not been the case of late.

few days earlier R.France reactivated 702 kHz, surely via Col de la Madonne,
and is putting a vr. strong here evenings, meaning ALG 702 and AOE 700 are
both getting problems, and it was almost surely this that made them leave
700 kHz for it went silent on 08 Sept and was replaced by:
1550 kHz Polisario Front, Tindouf (?), reactived on 09 Sep, as obs'ed
2155-..., Arabic, talks; 55544; \\ 7460 vy.strg., but under RFAsia (via MNG)
QRM during a certain evening period.

Contrary to what I've read vy. recently in some DX press, the Castilian prgr
actually opens the evening period, at 1700, and lasts till 1800.   The
ann'ed. fqs are 1550 and 7470 (instead of 7460).   At this vy. moment,
1704, on 12 Sep, 1550 kHz is barelyh detected, but not 7460, where
LSB mode has be engaged so as to diminish adj. DRM QRM.
