Prezados colegas,

Só por esta confirmação fiquei extremamente feliz por ter participado este
fim-de-semana no Concurso " Dia da Marinha Portuguesa " em PSK-31.
De resto a minha participação foi tão desastrosa que vou ser desclassificado
por não ter conseguido contactar a estação chave, como exigiam as regras.
Ainda assim vou enviar o meu diário de estação para validar os contactos das
duas únicas estações nacionais que estavam ao meu alcance ( CT4DK e
CT1ILO ).
Este relatório lança ainda uma excelente ideia que vos quero apresentar...
uma forma diferente de fazer SWL.
Já havia passado várias horas a escutar as emissões em PSK-31 mas nunca me
lembraria de enviar confirmações.
Este trabalho está simplesmente fantástico !!!!
A mensagem que se segue é uma confirmação viva de que os DXistas da
Radiodifusão também podem eventualmente aproveitar esta oportunidade
interessante de exercerem o seu passatempo.
Porque esta mensagem vai ser enviada também para o CLUSTER/ARLA vou colocar
o conteúdo do documento anexo no corpo da mensagem para poderem testemunhar
a miséria com que cheguei a Itália, ( apesar do simpático colega Walter
Capozza ter sido extremamente simpático comigo no seu relatório ).

LISTENING REPORT NO. 2885                            Mestre Venezia, 20th

        Dear O.M. Miguel Andrade, CT1ETL,

May I introduce myself ?  I'm an old amateur of radio listening, with
particular regard for the int'l utility radio stations. I started this hobby
during 1972 listening maritime and aero radio beacons, and during these last
years I devoted myself to the ham beacons on 28 MHz. band.

        Furthermore, these are the first times that I receive 'PSK31'
transmissions, so I
beg your pardon about any eventual uncorrect details.

        Since many days, as you well know, propagation on 10 mts band is
more or less entirely down here in Venice, so today, in the afternoon, I've
tuned my receiver on 20 mts band and  had the great pleasure of receiving
your radio transmission in PSK31 mode. The details of my reception, which I
hope are interesting, are below :

- Date                    : 20th May, 2006
- Time                    : 15:28 hrs. utc.
- Frequency            : 14 MHz. - 20 mts. band
- Mode                   : PSK31 mode  (during CQ and qso with RA6AV, and
attempt from                                       IZ0HQS not heard by you)
- Local WX conds     : Sunny - Temp. +25°C.
- Distance               : 1,904 Kms.

        Reception quality  (from your side) :

- Readability        :   4 =  readable with pratically no difficulty,
notwithstanding a
                                    certain more or less moderate
fading/qsb,

- Signal Strength  :   7 =  moderately strong signals,

- Tone                :   9 =  purest dc note.

         For your better guidance, I enclose hereby the received test.

         My receiver is a 'Kenwood R-600' with DigiPan v. 1.1 decoder, and
13 mts wire antenna at about 11 mts height.

         I  would  be very happy if you could send me - via e-mail, please
(no bureau) - your verification to confirm my reception.   Please indicate
the date, the time and the frequency of my report, and be sure that your
confirmation will be highly appreciated. Do not refuse to confirm, please!
