Yes, I get this too - I HOPE this doesnt mean we are
heading into another Maunder Minimum - where there
were several non peaks in a row - also resulted in a
mini Ice Age in the Northern Hemisphere.  Well below
average temperatures the year around, for over 50
years.

Was a hundred and more years before radio, so it
probably didnt matter all that much.

Still, the next peak (2011 - 2012) should be bigger
than the one just ended.  We will have to make sure
not to miss it...  Just in case.
