As per the RDP info. below, the stn will be testing on
11905 kHz 1600-1900 Europe, and will most probably
extend it to Sat+Sun 1400-2000.   That will be parallel to
the regular b/cast to Europe on 15555 kHz, which runs:

Mo-Fr     1600-1900 | 300 kW | 45º
Sat+Sun   1400-2000 | 300 kW | 45º

just as per the A06 schedule dtd. 15MAR'06.

Now, as far as the comments re. the use of such a high HF
band for a short distance down to C.Verde+Guinea, the
RDP reply explains that's primarily a txssion beamed to
Brazil [i.e. their main target] and which due to propagation
conditions it [21 MHz band] also covers that particular
WAfr region.

Well, I'd say the (approx.) azimuth is the main issue rather
than the propagation conditions as both C.Verde and
Guinea may well be in the skip zone on many occasions.

Besides, both Guinea & C.Verde can use the local VHF-
FM relays of RDP África, which, however, is not the same
as RDPi.   In a similar situation re. VHF-FM, we have
São Tomé e Príncipe, but not Moçambique where only a
few stns exist on its vast territory, and for the time being
at least, no agreement with Angola, so no local relays
there.

Agradeço a informação que nos enviou relativa às condições de recepção das
nossas transmissões em OC, no Senegal.
Os comentários referentes ao uso dos 21 MHz para uma distância tão curta,
deverão ter em conta que estas emissões se destinam prioritariamente ao
Brasil e que, por razões de propagação, cobrem também a zona da Guiné e Cabo
Verde.
Aproveito para o informar que amanhã, dia 27-04-2006, iniciaremos testes em
11905 kHz, das 1600-1900 UTC, para a Europa. Provavelmente estes testes
prolongar-se-ão no fim-de-semana, durante o período das 1400-2000 UTC. Estes
testes realizar-se-ão em simultâneo com a emissão normal em 15555 kHz.
